AdventHealth has initiated construction on a state-of-the-art $423 million hospital in Lake Nona, Florida, set to offer advanced medical treatments to patients from Central Florida and beyond. Located at 10999 Narcoossee Road, the hospital will initially open with 80 beds, with the capacity to expand to 320 beds.
The 10-story facility will feature a range of services, including men’s health, bariatrics, neurology, cardiology, and orthopedics. Notably, it will house an incisionless surgical suite for using focused ultrasound to destroy tumors and treat Parkinson’s disease tremors.
“We envision this as a health and well-being destination, integrated into the Lake Nona community with something to offer to everyone,” said Doug Harcombe, CEO of the hospital.

The hospital will be part of a 25-acre campus that aligns with Lake Nona’s emphasis on wellness and community. The campus will include a lake promenade, event lawn, amphitheater, and connections to the Lake Nona Trail. In addition to the hospital, the site will feature a medical office building, retail, and dining options.
Craig Collin, president and COO of Tavistock Development Group, highlighted the importance of the new facility. “As the fastest-growing community in Central Florida, we are eager to ensure our residents have access to the most innovative treatments available. We are pleased to have AdventHealth expand its presence in Lake Nona.”
Thousands of tons of soil have already been removed from the site, and over 1,000 concrete piles have been placed underground for the foundation. The hospital is expected to open in 2026, with ESA as the architect and Brasfield & Gorrie as the general contractor.
