The Philips M102A Module is a versatile and essential component used in medical monitoring systems. The M102A measures Cardiac Output (C.O.) and Continuous Cardiac Output (CCO). It offers two measurement methods:
PiCCOTM Method: Used for measuring C.O., CCO, and other hemodynamic parameters. It calibrates pulse contour analysis and can derive values for Intrathoracic Blood Volume (ITBV) and Extravascular Lung Water (EVLW) (except in the USA).
Right Heart Thermodilution Method: Used for measuring C.O.
The module can handle various syringe sizes (from 1 mL to 60 mL). It is compatible with adult, neonatal, and pediatric patients in ICU environments. The operating temperature range is 0 to 55°C (32 to 131°F), and it can be used at altitudes up to 4,600 meters (15,000 feet).
The M102A ensures accurate medication delivery and patient monitoring. It plays a critical role in managing patient care during transport and in intensive care settings.
