Description
The Alaris Medley Point of Care System with Guardrails Software is a Modular smart IV medication safety system that can help protect every infusion to guard you and your patients from medication errors. The Alaris Medley Point of Care System combines a single point-of-care unit featuring Guardrails Suite MX safety software with IV / LVP, PCA Syringe, Syringe, respiratory monitoring (SpO2 and EtCO2), and barcoding capabilities.
The Alaris Medley 8015 LS PC unit is the core of the Alaris Medley System and provides a common user interface for programming infusions and continuous SP02 / EtCO2 monitoring. This helps to reduce complexity at the point of care. Each Alaris Medley 8015 LS PC Module features a larger display and can support up to four Infusion Modules with a single power cord. The 8015 LS Module features a large, easy to read color display, and back-lit keypad for programming values. Programming screen displays drug or IV fluid name, dose or rate and volume infused. Real time battery gauge display lets clinicians know the amount of run time available for their current infusions. Alaris Medley 8015 LS Next Generation PC Modules are Guardrails compatible, and Educational customers have the option of having an Educational Training Dataset added for training purposes.
The Alaris Medley 8015 LS PC module makes it easier than ever to help increase the safety of IV medication delivery and helps improve clinical best practices, regardless of existing wireless infrastructure. Using wireless data set transfer and Guardrails alerts, you can quickly download data for rapid cycle improvement. The hospital’s latest drug and IV therapy delivery parameters can be uploaded just as easily, helping to ensure clinicians always have the most up-to-date information. Hospitals that have a wireless network can use the Alaris Systems Manager to bridge the gap between IV and IT, providing centralized access to infusion and respiratory monitoring data at every bedside.
