Abaxis Classic, unlike any other system, the VetScan reagents are factory calibrated and the calibration values are communicated to the analyzer through the bar code on the rotor.

The VetScan can be connected to an external computer.
Press the Power button to turn on the analyzer.
The analyzer will go through a self-test.
Once the self-test is completed, the analyzer will display 'Analyze' and is now ready to run a rotor.
